PhilHealth Run 2013

18 Sites, 18 Years, 1 Nation -- in commemoration of its 18th year anniversary and observance of National Health Insurance Month, PhilHealth is staging a running event emphasizing the point of unity and oneness in aim and spirit - universal health care in the Philippines, reducing child mortality and improving maternal health.



Through this momentous event, PhilHealth aims to rally the entire nation as it helps stage a push towards bringing universal health care a reality. With universal coverage, every Filipino, regardless of status, is given the financial access and support to quality health care and services.

What: PhilHealth Run 2013: Nationwide Run for Mother and Child Protection

When: 17 February 2013 (Sunday), 4:45 AM

Where: Quirino Grandstand, Manila and 17 other major Cities across the Country



Beneficiaries: 85% of the proceeds will go to each City's chosen beneficiaries

1. National Beneficiary - Philippine Children's Medical Center


2. Manila Beneficiary - Cottolengo Filipino Orphanage (DSWD accredited)


3. There will also be 1 select local beneficiary in each of the other venues
